Tropical storm Haikui 2017 - Effers in Philippines and the Vietnam A Tropical Depression formed on Samar and PAGASA gave the name  Salome  to the system. Salome damages boats in Sorsogon with giant waves. The next day, after Salome made landfall, it intensified into a Tropical Storm and the JMA gave the international name  Haikui  to the system. Haikui made rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas.
