Tropical storm Haikui 2017 - Effers in Philippines and the Vietnam

A Tropical Depression formed on Samar and PAGASA gave the name Salome to the system. Salome damages boats in Sorsogon with giant waves. The next day, after Salome made landfall, it intensified into a Tropical Storm and the JMA gave the international name Haikui to the system. Haikui made rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas.

As of 18:00 UTC November 10, Tropical Storm Haikui (Salome) is located about 17.3°N 116.9°E, about 380 nautical miles (700 kilometres; 440 miles) south-southeast of Hong Kong. 10-minute sustained winds are at 65 km/h (40 mph), while 1-minute sustained winds are at 75 km/h (45 mph), with gusts of up to 95 km/h (60 mph). The minimum barometric pressure is at 1,002 hectopascals (29.59 inHg), and the system is moving northwest at 8 knots (15 km/h; 9 mph)
