Tropical Storm Harvey landfalls in Carribean islands (2017)



As of 11:00 p.m. EDT August 17 (03:00 UTC August 18), Tropical Storm Harvey is located within 30 nautical miles of 13.0°N 57.4°W, about 140 miles (230 km) east of Barbados, or about 250 miles (400 km) east-southeast of Saint Lucia. Maximum sustained winds are 35 knots (40 mph; 65 km/h), with gusts up to 45 knots (50 mph; 85 km/h). The minimum barometric pressure is 1005 mbar (hPa; 29.68 inHg), and the system is moving west at 16 knots (18 mph; 30 km/h). Tropical storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center of Harvey.
